Naturally, we wanted to take a trip somewhere for Shell’s birthday, but settled on something a little closer to home than our usual jaunts. The four-day road trip took us through the Lake District, up to Dumfries, Edinburgh, across to Callander, and into the stunning Trossachs National Park.
